Rondo to Lead Celtics

Rajon Rondo, point guard for the Boston Celtics is ready to get back in action after he tore his ACL last season. He could still be out until December while he is still recovering from the reconstructive surgery. When confronted with the media about losing some key players on his team Rondo played it cool and acted like it did not phase him. Most Boston fans were shocked when they heard the two veterans, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were leaving to go play with the Brooklyn Nets and coach Doc Rivers will be going to the Los Angeles Clippers. Rondo spent nearly his whole career playing with those guys (2007-2012) and now he shrugs his shoulders at the thought of playing without them. Rajon Rondo is a tough-minded player in the NBA, but losing two of the best to play in Boston is really going to make it hard on the team to compete with the big teams in the league such as the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.

  1. With all the trades in basketball this year, who do you think will make it to the finals? Will the Heat be three time winners or will a new team win?

  2. Its going to be a little bit of a down year for the Celtics that is for sure. However the team they have right now is very young and talented, not to mention they have a ton of first round draft picks in the next 3-4 years. After a little bit of rebuilding, a bright future lies ahead in Boston.

  3. the celtics is in a building process right now since the two all stars plus coach left. Rondo got alot of weight on his shoulder to carry but give them a few more years they will find pieces to bring to the team. Alot of young players will not get it done. So bringing in a few veterans they obvious need

  4. Rondo might get traded to a different team. when you blow up a house, you don't just keep the living room. everything goes. I am from boston and I don't want to see that happen but it looks like it will.
